FRIGIDAIRE GALLERY

The Frigidaire Gallery redesign was inspired by a profitable product line that had become outdated, struggling to remain relevant in the market. After a change in management, the new CEO implemented a plan, "Frigidaire First." The design group was tasked to create a cost-competitive product line as quickly as possible, incorporating marginal changes with minimal investment capital. We composed the design intent within a week, which we then developed with our global R&D and manufacturing facilities for production.

Problem Solving/Concepts

The current Frigidaire Gallery design had an aged aesthetic that did not compete with the competition. Since this was a fast-paced project, we brainstormed with our global R&D team to see what small changes we could make, especially using existing parts.

Frigidaire Gallery Lifestyle

Frigidaire Gallery was updated to a sleek modern design without replacing existing parts and therefore, remained cost-effective. A few key changes were updates to the knobs, UI, grates, and door facade.
